Stefania Monda has over 15 years of experience as a transactional attorney working with a broad variety of clients ranging from market leaders to start-up companies.

She advises national and multinational companies, investment funds, private investors, entrepreneurs and executive board members on a broad range of corporate transactions including mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buy-outs, spinoffs, finance and restructuring transactions, joint ventures and other strategic alliances, startup formation and exit transactions, start-up and scale-up seed financings, venture capital investments and financings, corporate securities and corporate governance matters.

Clients benefit from Stefania’s experience on technology transactions. Her extensive work for technology companies – including leading Fintech, e-commerce, biotechnology, information technology and blockchain companies – includes advising on a variety of commercial transactions involving the development, purchase, sale and licensing of technology.

Stefania is a dual qualified attorney, practicing law in Italy and New York. Her practice includes both domestic and international transactions, with a particular focus on cross-border acquisitions. She regularly assists European companies expanding their businesses overseas as well as US entrepreneurs and funds investing in Italy.

Stefania received her Law Degree, summa cum laude, in 2005 from the University of Naples Federico II. She earned a Ph.D. degree from Bocconi University in Milan and an LL.M. (Master of laws) degree from Columbia University in New York. She also obtained professional certificates in Computer Science from Harvard University, Fintech Law and Policy from Duke University, and Blockchain transactions from INSEAD Business School.
